Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Glimmer iOS application ("the App"), operated by Altamar33 LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Glimmer. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
3. Subscriptions
Glimmer offers auto-renewing subscriptions to unlock premium features:
- Monthly: $9.99 USD per month
- Yearly: $49.99 USD per year
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the App.
3.1 Auto-renewal
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
3.2 Managing and canceling
- Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iOS device.
- Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
3.3 Free trials and introductory offers
If an introductory offer or free trial is provided, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable by law.
3.4 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
3.5 Price changes
We may change subscription prices. If we do, we will notify you and obtain your consent where required by Apple and applicable law before the new price takes effect.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App, except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers.
- Use automated means to access the App.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its content.
5. User Content
Gratitude entries and other content you create in the App ("User Content") belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. Because User Content is stored on your device, we do not have access to it and are not responsible for its backup or recovery. We strongly recommend you keep your own backups of anything important.
6. Screen Time Features
Glimmer uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks to help you block selected apps. These features are powered by iOS itself, and their effectiveness depends on iOS, your device settings, and Apple's frameworks. We do not guarantee that any specific app will be blocked at all times or under all conditions.
7. Wellness Disclaimer
Glimmer is a wellness and self-improvement tool, not a medical device, mental-health treatment, or substitute for professional advice. Content is for informational purposes only. Do not use the App to diagnose or treat any medical or mental-health condition. If you are experiencing a crisis, contact emergency services or a licensed professional immediately (in the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, source code, graphics, text, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Altamar33 LLC and protected by U.S. and international laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 2, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including Apple, RevenueCat, and Supabase. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altamar33 LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Altamar33 LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate by uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Apple's Standard EULA
If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of a conflict, the more restrictive terms apply.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App or via the contact email associated with your account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute arising out of these Terms, except where prohibited by applicable law.
