Privacy Policy
Glimmer ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Altamar33 LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Glimmer iOS app ("the App") collects, how we use it, and your rights. We designed Glimmer to collect as little personal data as possible.

1. Summary
- Your gratitude entries are stored on your device. We do not upload them to our servers.
- The apps you choose to block via Screen Time are selected locally on your device. Apple's Family Controls framework never shares those selections with us.
- We do not sell your data, run ads, or use third-party advertising trackers.
- We use RevenueCat to process subscriptions and Supabase for limited account features. Apple processes all payments.
- Deleting the App removes all on-device data.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Stored only on your device
- Gratitude entries (text, timestamps, mood tags) you create in the App.
- Screen Time selections — managed by Apple's Family Controls framework and not visible to us.
- App preferences (theme, notifications, onboarding progress) stored via iOS UserDefaults.
2.2 Processed by our service providers
- Subscriptions: RevenueCat receives your anonymized App User ID, Apple receipt, and subscription status.
- Optional account: If you sign in, Supabase stores your authentication identifier and a unique user ID.
- Payments: Apple processes all payments. We never see your payment information. See Apple's privacy policy.
2.3 Diagnostic data
We may receive aggregated, anonymized crash and performance data through Apple's standard developer tools if you have opted in to share analytics with developers in iOS Settings. This data is not linked to your identity.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect or sell your gratitude entries.
- We do not know which specific apps you have chosen to block.
- We do not run third-party advertising or use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the App's core features (gratitude journaling, Screen Time blocking).
- Validate and manage your subscription via RevenueCat and Apple.
- Authenticate you, if you choose to sign in.
- Diagnose crashes and improve stability.
We do not use your information for advertising or to build behavioral profiles.
5. Family Controls / Screen Time Disclosure
Glimmer uses Apple's Family Controls and ManagedSettings frameworks to let you block selected apps. Apple's frameworks handle this entirely on-device:
- Selected apps are processed by Apple's
FamilyActivityPickerand stored as opaque tokens. - We never see which specific apps you have chosen.
- The blocking shield is enforced by iOS itself, not by us.
- You can change or remove your selections at any time in the App.
6. Children's Privacy
Glimmer is intended for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, contact us at help@altamar33.com and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention
- On-device data persists until you delete the App or clear its data in iOS Settings.
- Subscription records held by RevenueCat and Apple are retained per their respective policies.
- Account records (if applicable) held by Supabase are retained until you request deletion.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR, and California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your data, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email help@altamar33.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. International Users
Glimmer is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS/TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by Apple and our service providers). No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the App.
